After a successful career in Contemporary Dance,
Deborah Garth enrolled at Boston House College School of Design to study Interior Design full time. “As a dancer, stage set design always fascinated me and I think this is what led me into interior design.” Two years later she qualified with Honours. After careful consideration of the industry, Deborah made the bold decision to go on her own.
In early 1992, Deborah Garth Interior Design was established. “The sheer magic of creating from a negative space intrigues me and opens my eyes to an even greater sense of creativity.”
Now, nearly 20 years on, Deborah Garth Interior Design continues to succeed, producing a professional and innovative product to the residential, corporate and retail sectors.
Her work has been in a number of media – habitat, South African Garden and Home, Tuin Paleis, Designing Ways, The Sunday Independent. She was a guest on design talk show on 702 Highveld radio.
Deborah has exhibited on Decorex and designed for exhibiting clients winning awards for excellence.
